ANAHRI aims to create knowledge and to translate the results into improved nutrition and health for Palestinians. We cannot meet this goal on our own. It is only through co-operation with stakeholders in the nutrition and heath research community that we can carry out our goal and create benefits for Palestinians. A commitment to partnership activity has been integrated into A.N.A.H.R.I. performance evaluation frameworks.
From its beginning, ANAHRI has developed a very broad, inclusive approach to partnership. The multidisciplinary research environment we encourage helps to bring together a wide variety of organizations. Partner organizations include other Palestinian Ministries and agencies, non-governmental organizations, as well as international organizations. Partnerships are mostly formed by ANAHRI's institute; however, there are a number which involve ANAHRI central programs. Partnerships can include both financial and non-financial contributions. Non-financial contributions can include access to professional networks, areas of expertise, shared tools and documentation and in-kind resources. Whatever the contribution, A.N.A.H.R.I. partnerships are true collaborations - driven by shared goals and a desire to improve nutrition, health and quality of life.

The Institute shares a strong affiliation with The University of Toronto through the Faculty of Medicine Department of Public Health.
The success of the Institute is measured by the number of peer reviewed research projects, the volume of recognized research publications and the number of students supervised jointly by the Institute. The Director of the Institute, Professor Ziad Abdeen, has an adjunct position with the university through the Department of Community Health, Faculty of Medicine.
In June 2004 the Institute collaborated with Tufts University in Boston in conducting a joint conference to combat malnutrition.
